ep. 33 | Sports Dietitian Gemma Sampson: Nutrition for Endurance Athletes

jackson long March 18, 2020

Despite the craziness and uncertainty in the world right now, it’s such a gift to be able to have engaging and productive conversations with people across the world. Social distancing doesn’t have to mean social isolation. I’m still deeply passionate about sharing nutrition wisdom and education through this platform, and connecting with like-minded nerds to help athletes fuel and live better.

So, this week on the show, advanced sports dietitian Gemma Sampson beams in to the podcast from COVID-19 lockdown in Girona, Spain for a conversation on the common mistakes athletes make when it comes to fueling and nutrition, relative energy deficiency in sport, plant-based performance, favorite recipes, considerations for young athletes, and more. Learn more about what Gemma is up to, including awesome recipes and resources, at dietitianwithoutborders.com and on Instagram, @gemmasampsonnutrition.
